ACS Data Recovery
has the skills, the tools and the experience to recover your lost
data. We have successfully recovered thousands of gigabytes of data
for our customers. There are thousands of data recovery companies
out there, but very few are actually qualified to perform the most
difficult recovery procedures. Don't be mislead by impossible success
rates which are sometimes used to lure in customers (read
more about that here: Report:
Choosing The Best Data Recovery
Provider). ACS Data Recovery doesn't get paid
unless your media is recoverable, and with that kind of business
model, we have to be very good at what we do in order to continue
our sustained growth within the industry.
Once
we receive your drive we start off by doing a thorough evaluation
to determine what steps are necessary to perform a successful recovery.
When you call, you will generally receive a price quote for non-invasive
and invasive recovery procedures. These prices are usually dramatically
different, and until we are able to evaluate your drive, it will
be impossible to give you an exact price over the phone. We try
our best to diagnose the problem over the phone and give our best
guess as to what the potential recovery costs may be. If we feel
that your description indicates a physical failure of the hard drive,
then we will tell you so up front. We never intentionally "low
ball" the price just to get jobs in, only to hold your data
hostage at a much higher price. To further protect you against any
pricing problems, we do not charge an evaluation fee, and once the
evaluation is complete you will have a price "set in stone"
for the recovery. After the evaluation is complete, if you decide
not to proceed with the recovery, you simply pay for the shipping
and return the drive back to you.
After the initial
evaluation sometimes the recovery costs end up being less than we
expected. It's not uncommon that we may anticipate a drive requiring
an invasive physical recovery, when in fact we are able to do it
for much less once we get the drive in and evaluate it. The important
thing to remember is that after our initial evaluation, the price
we quote you for the recovery will NEVER
exceed that amount when the recovery is completed. If after receiving
this final price quote you decide not to proceed, then you only
pay for shipping if you want the drive returned to you.
Most data recovery
procedures can be completed in 3-5 business days. Expedited jobs
can sometimes be turned around in as little as 24-48 hours. However,
on rare occasions recoveries can require weeks to complete. Many
times, data recovery is as much about rebuilding and repairing a
hard drive as it is anything else. Most drives with physical failures
are very time consuming and labor intensive when it comes to recovering
the data. We will perform a number of procedures until we sucessfully
recover your data. Each case is unique, and our goal is to provide
the very best service to our customers. We go the extra mile by
exhausting every possible recovery method before we deem a drive
unrecoverable.
We stand firmly
behind our No Data / No Charge guarantee. If your drive is unrecoverable
due to data corruption, or severe media damage such as platter scoring,
then you pay nothing. We only charge for successful recoveries.
A successful recovery is not just finding your operating system,
or various program files that are useless to you. We try to image
all of the data from the drive, but if a perfect image is not obtainable,
then we focus on the files and directories you have specified on
the Data Recovery Request Form. If requested, we can even send you
a list of the recoverable files ahead of time for you to verify.
No matter how serious the situation is, we will do our best to make
the recovery process as easy as possible.
